Directions

Place dry rice in pan. Add 200ml of boiling water. Cover pan with lid and cook on lowest heat for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, or after the water has been absorbed or boiled away, remove pan from heat.

Place a clean dish towel on top of the pan, between the pan and the lid. Let the pan sit like this for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, heat the feijoada over a low heat, stirring frequently.

Serve the feijoada with the rice alongside, add salt to taste.
